Can I customize a box?

Currently you are able to customize which of the American Girl self-care books you'd prefer.

We strive to provide a comprehensive package of the highest quality essentials that are informational and fun.

What is the difference between the two American Girl books?

In the Younger girl's edition of The Care And Keeping of You, girls 8 and up will find age-appropriate illustrations, stories, and answers to questions about their changing bodies. Topics include hair care, healthy eating, oral and bodily hygeine, bras, periods, and everything in between.

The Older girls edition for girls 10 and up goes into even more detail about the physical and emotional changes girls will experience. Through simple illustrations and expert advice, this book covers new questions about periods, her growing body, peer pressure, personal care, and more.

What brands are in your box?

We pride ourselves on researching, testing, and including only the best products for you and your family to enjoy. In addition to several unique items specifically created for Milestones Gifts, we include brands like American Girl, Good For You Girls, EOS, Reddrop, Everyone for Everybody, and Facetory, in certain versions of the box.

We love to support small businesses by including their goods in our gift boxes. As a result, certain items can become unavailable on occasion and without a lot of notice. In the event an item is unavailable at the time of your order, we reserve the right to substitute an item of the same type, as close to your original item as possible.

What if I want to purchase items in the box individually or to refill what has been used?

We are in the process of setting up the ability to purchase select items separately as well as a subscription box for self-care essentials. There are currently a few items available for individual purchase.

How does a pre-order sale work?

We offer a pre-order sale for new product launches when we have a limited quantity of those products available for purchase during the first few months while we determine the appropriate amount to have on hand to manage supply and demand.

The product ordering page will state the pre-order timeframe, limited quantity available, and expected shipping dates.

If you missed out this time around, we are SO sorry, and can understand your frustration. Rest assured that we look forward to providing you with your desired item as soon as possible. Our goal is to ensure you or your special someone feel supported for their important milestone!

Shipping & Returns

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping is free on domestic orders in the United States over $100 per shipping address.

When will my order arrive?

Orders take about 3-7 business days to arrive via the United States Postal
Service. We typically fulfill orders within 1-2 business days and follow the USPS holiday schedule for dates that shipping does not occur.

What's your return policy?

Due to the personal nature of the contents of our gift boxes, we are unable to issue refunds or accept returns. If your gift box has arrived in less than perfect condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we have the opportunity to make it right for you!

Individual items purchased may be returned within 15 days.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! Unfortunately at this time we do not accept order cancellations.

Why do you need my email?

We want to provide you the best customer service possible so we will use your email address to provide an order confirmation, delivery tracking, and information relevant to Milestones Gifts, LLC. We respect your privacy and will not provide your information to any third parties.

Do you charge sales tax?

We follow state regulations regarding thresholds for collection of sales tax. We currently collect sales tax on gift boxes shipping to New York as that is our state of business operation.
